morning assembly-
DAMN dumb. at first thought its juz usual monday assembly, with all the medals n prizes given out...boring until the fencers one. the captain went up, and wah. drama.
he went off not like the usual announcers:"on ____date sji sent a team of blablablabl"
instead he went in that sort of loud, drama voice(i try to recall as much as possible)
"MY FELLOW JOSEPHIANS, OUR FENCING DIVISION A WAS ALSO SENT TO..._____location, AND THEY smashed their way through all opposition despite heavy competition..._____insert fencing compliments here."
but it was the prize giving that took the cake.
each one went on for at least 20 seconds, as he described each fencer IN DETAIL.
"weaving a web of tangled steel, none escape his graceful yet brutal technique with his ever trustly companion, his foil, i give you, ____insert name here"

the whole sch laughed thru the whole thing.
but the conclusion was the best.
first he goes on with a speech abt himself..."they call him the silent whisper of death, on the competition. as fast as lightning,, strong as a buffalo, and as agile as a _____*insert agile thing*, i give you, div a's sole source of motivation, the captain! AKA myself."
then aft the laughter, he goes on with this"it is the team that has done the school proud, and being josephians, i will not ask them to bow to you, as we are all josephians. nay, it is you who should be bowing to them."
wa then even the teachers dam shocked.
even the fencers.
on stage.
"for traditions sake anyway, take a bow fencers."

today was mini debate on whether single sex schs are good for s'pore.
I was on opposition-that they are not good.
DAMN HARD. WE IN SJI-SINGLE SEX SCH. HOW WE CONTRADICT OUR OWN SCH.
and any point we thought of i provided rebuttals that they could easily think of.
which is why they were questioning my loyalties.
anyway when we debated, one guy was lost for words on a example, so i tried to help by saying:

and then aft the meeting we played badminton. with song booklets i found.
